Along with attending the weekly ASEWU Council meeting and fulfilling their office hours, the ASEWU Legislative Affairs Representative is responsible for communicating with the ASEWU Legislative Liaison, the EWU Director of Governmental Relations, Cheney City Council Chair, and the Office of Financial Aid. They must attend the Washington Student Lobby (WSL) General Assembly meetings, Cheney City Council, Cheney Pathways to Progress Association meetings, and the West Plains Chamber of Commerce meetings. They will assist the ASEWU Legislative Liaison in coordinating Easterns Higher Education Day in Olympia and researching and obtaining information needed when the liaison is on campus and while lobbying in Olympia. |
