The ASEWU Communication and Media Relations Specialist is responsible for preparing weekly press releases that include the actions, activities, programs, legislative concerns and issues addressed by the ASEWU Council. They are also responsible for advertising job openings and ASEWU activities. They coordinate the quarterly "State of the ASEWU" forums to provide Eastern students an opportunity to address and ask questions or bring up concerns to their student representatives. Essentially, the ASEWU Communication and Media Relations Specialist provides the student government a liaison who will inform its constituency about the ASEWU, its activities and programs, and legislative issues and concerns on a consistent and regular basis. |
