The Faculty Planning Advisory Council was created when the Academic Senate collapsed the Business Affairs Council and the Faculty Affairs Council into one (1) group. This Council’s function is to advise the senate on matters related to faculty development and the planning and budgeting processes of the university including issues on professional leaves, retirement, insurance, the provision of advice on university long and short term planning, budgets and facilities and the liaison with faculty professional organizations, i.e. the United Faculty of Eastern (UFE). FPAC currently has two (2) council committees: the Research and Scholarship Committee and the Retirement and Insurance Committee.
