Be it enacted by the ASEWU Council that: SECTION 1: Purpose The purpose of this bylaw is to establish and provide the ASEWU Council with a means of maintaining responsibility of changes of all ASEWU allocated budgets. SECTION 2: Interdepartmental Transfers The ASEWU Finance Vice President shall bring to the ASEWU Finance Committee any transfer of funds from one (1) ASEWU budget to another ASEWU budget (interdepartmental transfer) that exceeds five hundred dollars ($500). The ASEWU Finance Vice President shall bring to the ASEWU Finance Committee any interdepartmental transfer that does not exceed five hundred dollars ($500) after the third such request. Changes to these budgets shall only be done with the consent of the majority of ASEWU Finance Committee voting members and then a two-thirds (2/3) vote of Council. SECTION 3: Transfer of Funds Any transfer of funds from one ASEWU budget to another ASEWU funded budget must be submitted to the ASEWU Finance Committee before being presented to Council.
